Burke Mountain early planning

So way back on the 20th of February 1975, the newspapers printed this:

At the time, the government had acquired considerable lands in the area, and wanted to build something; but it was not to be, for many years....
But today we have the typical urban sprawl, spreading even further away from this initial early planning exercise. City of Coquitlam Burke Mountain information

Would be interesting to see this old report and compare; of course it will look nothing like the original concepts, presented in the report.
